Liver Pâté Deviled Eggs

These mouthwatering deviled eggs are stuffed with a rich and smooth pork pâté. Serve these eggs as crowd-pleasing party snack for Easter or any other occasion {gluten free, low carb}

If you enjoy pate and deviled eggs, you’ll love this delish combination of these two. Liver pate makes a rich, smooth and delicious stuffing to deviled eggs.

Liver pate deviled eggs are common party food or appetizer on Hungarian festive tables. They are usually made for Easter or after Easter from the leftover hard boiled dyed eggs. If there’s a special occasion, deviled eggs can not be missing from our menu, these delicious stuffed hard boiled eggs are my all time favourite appetizer ever since I can remember.

The filling has just three ingredients: egg yolks, mayo and pate, and it’s super easy to prepare: combine them until you get a smooth cream, season it with salt and pepper, then fill the egg whites with the mixture. I love garnishing  my eggs with a drop of spicy or hot sauce, I usually just drizzle the top of the eggs with Sriracha or paprika cream. The little red dots make my eggs so appetizing and give the eggs a rich and special flavour.

Such a great spin on deviled eggs to mix the filling with pork or chicken liver paté. I know, I know there’s a lot of people who don’t like liver, but guess what, these deviled eggs don’t have a strong liver taste, just the opposite. The egg yolk, mayo and pate melt together into a smooth and very delish filling. By the way, if you actually like liver, you should check my creamy onion liver zoodles recipe.

Mostly, I use homemade mayo and store-bought pate in this recipe. Soon I will make a post on how to make homemade mayonnaise and home made chicken liver pate, because they really make a difference. Until then feel free to use store-bought mayo and pate, your eggs will be super flavourful as well.

These perfect snacks are so easy to prepare, especially if your hard boiled eggs peel easily, plus they require just 4 ingredients. Also boiled eggs and liver are pretty nutritious, they have some good fats and are high in protein. So, these Easter snacks are not just delicious, they are also good for you! :)

Happy Easter!
